Three Gross Motor Christmas Activities

Three ways to incorporate Gross motor into a Christmas party or Christmas vacation.

Items needed:
Painter's tape - red or green or both
Boxes wrapped in various sizes
Ribbon
Green and red colored shatter-proof ornaments.
crumpled up wrapping paper.

Activities:
1.  Place two different colored lines on the floor.
Hand your child a red or green present or ornament.
Have them walk down that color line and place the item on the floor at the end of the line.

2. Place one line on the floor.  Place wrapped boxes on one end of the line.  Have your child walk each present down the line and stack them in order biggest to smallest.

3.  Place crumpled up wrapping paper and ribbon on the middle of the floor.  Have your child step or jump over the ribbon and wrapping paper.
